Alchem Diagnostics

Alchem Diagnostics is over on Gokhale Street in Ramnagar. We are at No. 78. It is a quiet enough street compared to the main roads, which is nice for a lab. People come in here for their blood tests and other checkups. Usually, they arrive early in the morning before they have had their breakfast. We see a lot of regulars from around the neighborhood. The lab isn't huge, but we have the equipment we need to get the results back to people. It’s a serious kind of job, looking at samples all day, but we try to be friendly when someone is nervous about a needle. We spend a lot of time labeling tubes and making sure the machines are calibrated right. There’s a lot of paperwork too, which nobody really likes but it has to be done correctly. The building itself is an older one, but we keep the inside clean. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to rely on the backup, which is just part of living here. We aren't trying to be a big hospital or anything. We are just a local diagnostic spot where you can get your reports without too much fuss. Most of our day is spent waiting for the machines to finish or talking to doctors on the phone. It’s steady work and we like being part of the Ramnagar community.
