Afresh Exports & Imports

Being located at No. 9/145 in Kakkan Colony means we are right in the heart of things here in Valparai. The air is usually a bit cooler up here, which makes the long days in the warehouse a lot more manageable. Afresh Exports & Imports is mostly just a few of us making sure the orders go out on time. The building isn't the newest on the block, and the stairs creak a bit when you walk up to the main desk. We spend a lot of our time looking at manifests and making sure the labels aren't peeling off the boxes. It’s a lot of practical work, really. There is a small tea shop just down the road from Kakkan Colony where we usually go when the paperwork gets too much. Valparai is a nice place to work, even if the roads can be a bit winding for the bigger trucks. We have had to learn how to pack things tight so nothing moves around too much during the drive. Sometimes the internet goes out when it rains heavy, and we just have to wait it out. It's not a corporate lifestyle, just a regular job where we move stuff from one place to another. We keep the inventory stacked high, and there is always something that needs to be sorted. It’s just how we do things every day. We don't make a big fuss, we just stay busy with the crates.
