Avis Computer

If you walk towards the Old Bus Stand near Subhash Chowk, you will find Avis Computer right in that busy area. It’s a lively spot with people constantly coming and going from the buses. We spend our days surrounded by monitors, keyboards, and tangled cables. People bring in their laptops when they won't turn on or when the screen starts acting funny. We also sell some basic computer parts and accessories that people might need for their home or office. The shop is a bit small, and sometimes it feels like we are drowning in computer towers, but we have a system for where everything goes. It’s not a high-end tech lounge with glass walls. It’s just a place where we sit at our workbenches and try to figure out what’s wrong with a motherboard or a hard drive. We get a lot of local students and office workers who need a quick fix so they can get back to their tasks. We try to be honest about what can be fixed and what’s probably just junk. The noise from Subhash Chowk is always there in the background, but we don't notice it much anymore. We just keep our heads down and work on the screens in front of us. We have been here at the bus stand for a good while, just helping folks with their technology problems one at a time and keeping things simple.
