Bhavar Mata Kisan Agro Producer Company Limited is basically a group of us farmers from the Gomana area in Chhoti Sadri. Our main office is located at Bharat’s house, and he is the son of Govrdhan Meghwal. We are right in the middle of the Pratapgarh and Chittorgarh region. Being a kisan producer company means we are just local people working together to get things done. It isn’t like those big corporate offices you see in the city. We meet up in the afternoons to talk about the crops and try to find ways to get better prices for our families. The village of Gomana is small, so everyone is basically a neighbor. Our office is just a simple room with some plastic chairs and a big ledger book for notes. We spend way more time out in the dirt than sitting behind a desk. We deal with whatever the current season brings us, whether it is corn or wheat. Sometimes the rains are late, and we all sit around worrying together. Other times the harvest is plenty and we are all happy. It’s a real group effort. We don’t have any marketing people or anything like that. We just have our own names and the land we work.
