Umar Plastic Industries

Umar Plastic Industries is situated at Plot No. 81 in the Valasapalle Industrial Park. We are just a short distance from Madanapalle. This is where we do all our plastic manufacturing. It’s a big shed with several machines that run for most of the day. The smell of melting plastic is something you never quite forget once you work here. We have a small team of guys who handle the molding and the packing. It’s hard work, especially when the weather gets hot in the summer. The industrial park is usually busy with trucks and workers moving around. We get our raw materials delivered in big sacks, and then we process them into various items. Sometimes a machine breaks down, and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it, which is a real pain. We don't have a fancy front office; it's just a corner with a desk and some samples of what we make. Most of our clients are other businesses who need specific parts or containers. We’ve been at this plot for a few years now and have slowly added more equipment as we could afford it. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We just focus on making sure the items come out right and the orders are ready when they should be. It is a loud place but we like it.
