Located at 8/67, Ramalayam Street in Podugupalem, Kotapadu, our building is right in the heart of the village area. We do a lot of food packing and processing here, mostly sticking to things that people use in their kitchens every day. The street outside is narrow and sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time turning around. We have a small group of local workers who come in every morning to start the machines and get the batches ready. It is not a huge corporate facility. It is more like a large workshop where everyone knows each other. We spend a lot of time checking the seals on the bags and making sure the labels are on straight, though sometimes a few go out a bit crooked. The office is just a small corner with a couple of chairs and a lot of paperwork piled up on the table. We don't have any fancy marketing people telling us what to do. We just focus on the daily grind of filling orders and getting them out the door. The fans in the ceiling hum all day to keep the air moving because it gets quite stuffy inside. It is just a practical place where we work hard and try to stay organized enough to keep things running smoothly without too much trouble.
