Being on the second floor of Majeesha Plaza means we get a good view of the street below. Thirupathi Bhimas Spice & Foods Pvt Ltd is tucked away in room 1-57/1. You can usually smell the spices before you even get to our door. It’s a busy building with people coming in and out all day. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers from all over. The office is usually a bit of a mess with samples of turmeric, chili, and other spices sitting in little bowls. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture, just what we need to get the work done. The heat in Thirupathi can be intense, so we appreciate the shade the plaza provides. We aren't some giant food conglomerate with a huge marketing budget. We’re just a group of people who know a lot about food and spices and want to make sure the quality is right. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in food safety, so we spend a lot of time filling out forms and checking logs. It’s a bit tedious, but it’s necessary for what we do. We try to be helpful when people call with questions. Mostly, we just stay focused on the day-to-day grind of running a spice business in a busy town, making sure every bag that leaves here is exactly what it should be.
