You can find Jb Coffee Works at 41 Sathyanarayanapuram, right on Jeevakona Road. We have been here for a long time, and the neighborhood knows the smell of our roasting beans. It isn't a retail store with fancy displays. It’s more of a workspace where we process the coffee and get it ready for delivery. There are always sacks of green beans piled up in the corners, and the floor is usually covered in a bit of chaff from the roaster. We don't have an office with a desk; we mostly just stand at the main table to handle our paperwork. The machines are old and loud, but they still work perfectly well for what we need. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to buy a small bag of beans directly from us, and we just weigh it out on the old scale we’ve had since the beginning. Jeevakona Road is always busy with scooters and cars, so it’s never really quiet here. We don't have air conditioning, so the back area gets very warm when the roaster is going full blast. It’s just a simple, hardworking place. We don't spend money on marketing or fancy packaging. We just focus on the beans and the roasting process. Most of our day is spent hauling bags or watching the temperature gauges. It’s a routine that we’ve grown used to over the many years we’ve been in Sathyanarayanapuram.
