Chilsag Film Acting School

Chilsag Film Acting School is based in Thondavada Village, which is part of the Chandragiri Mandal near Tirupati. Our address is Door No 11-109A, and it’s a bit different from what you might expect for an acting school. Instead of a city studio, we are out in a more rural area. This gives us a lot of space, though it means a bit of a journey for those coming from the main part of Tirupati. We have rooms set up for practice and rehearsals. It’s not a glamorous place with red carpets; it’s mostly just people in comfortable clothes trying to learn their lines and work on their expressions. The instructors here have a background in film and they don't sugarcoat how hard the work is. We spend hours going over the same scenes until they feel right. The atmosphere is quiet because of the village location, which helps when we need to concentrate. Sometimes we use the local surroundings for outdoor shoots. We aren't a big corporation, just a school for people who are serious about acting. You’ll find scripts lying around and maybe some old costumes in the corner. We focus on the craft itself rather than the fame. It’s a practical place where we get down to business every day. Being in Thondavada keeps us grounded and away from the noise of the city center. The village kids sometimes peek through the gates to see what we're doing. We have a small area where we keep props—mostly just old chairs, some hats, and a few wooden crates.
