You can find us over at No-B/S Nh-4 on the Main Road. We are right behind the Sai Hotel in Javanagondanahalli near Hiriyur. It’s a convenient spot because of the highway being right there. Suvarnamukhi Sheep And Wool Farmers Producer Company Limited is what we call ourselves. We have a lot of farmers involved who specialize in sheep and especially the wool side of things. The wool business is a bit different from just meat and it requires a lot of extra steps. Our office is a simple place where we gather to sort out the logistics. The highway noise is always there in the background while we work. We spend a lot of time talking to the wool shearers and the people who collect it. Hiriyur can get very hot so we usually try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that. We are just a group of local people trying to get a fair deal for our wool and sheep. Sometimes the market is good and sometimes it’s not, but we stay busy either way. People stop by the Sai Hotel and occasionally wander over to see what we are doing. We mostly just focus on the day-to-day tasks of running the producer company and making sure the farmers get what they need. It is a slow process but we are patient with the work.
