Gani Poultry and Hatcheries is based out in Rangavvanahally, specifically at #69 near the Karikere Post. It’s a quiet spot in Challakere Tq, but we stay busy with the chickens. This isn't one of those high-tech places you see in magazines. It’s a real farm with all the noise and smells that come with it. We started this because we had the land and knew a bit about birds. Every morning starts way before the sun is up. We have to check the hatcheries and make sure the temperature is okay, otherwise things go wrong fast. The road out here to Rangavvanahally can be a bit dusty in the summer, but we like being out of the main town area. It gives the birds more space and it’s quieter for us too. Most of the people working here are from the nearby houses, so we all know each other’s business. It’s a practical way to live, even if it means getting your boots dirty every single day. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the hatcheries and making sure the birds are doing okay. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we’ve been at it for a while now. If you ever come by Karikere Post, you can’t really miss us. We’re just here doing our thing day after day, trying to keep the hatchery running without too many problems and making sure the stock is healthy.
