Sree Cement & Itc Ltd.

This is Sree Cement & Itc Ltd. located at 24/823, College Road. Sirigere is a small place, so finding us on College Road isn't too hard. We handle a mix of things here, mostly cement for construction and some items from ITC. It’s a bit of a strange combination maybe, but it’s what people in the area need. The shop is on the ground floor. I’ve been working here for quite some time now. Most of our regulars are local contractors who need a few bags of cement for a renovation or a new build. The morning hours are usually the busiest because that's when the laborers are starting their shifts. I have a helper who moves the heavy bags around because they are quite heavy for one person to manage. We don't have a lot of space for storage, so we have to get deliveries pretty often to keep the inventory fresh. The road outside can get narrow when the buses go by. I spend a lot of time on the phone with distributors. Sometimes the prices change without much notice, which can be a real headache for us. It's just a typical small-town business. I drink a lot of tea while waiting for the next customer to walk in. We try to be helpful, but we’re just a small outlet on a busy road. It’s a simple living for us here in Sirigere.
