Lakshmi Hardware

We are over on Skp Road, a place that gets a lot of people looking for building materials and tools. Lakshmi Hardware is basically a shop filled with everything from nails to heavy tools. It is quite cluttered inside because we try to stock as much as possible in a limited space. You might have to wait a minute while we find exactly what you are looking for in the back. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling. We have been here for a long time and know most of the contractors and plumbers who work in this area. They usually come in early in the morning before they head to their job sites. The road outside can get very muddy when it rains, which makes it a bit of a mess to load heavy stuff into trucks. We just deal with it. It’s a family-run business, so it’s usually just me or my cousin behind the counter. We don't use fancy computers for everything; sometimes a pen and paper are faster for keeping track of things. We aren't looking to become a big chain store. We just like being the local spot where people can get a specific bolt or a hammer without any trouble. It’s basic, hard work, but it keeps us going.
