We are over at No. 16754/10504 on Market Road in the South Block of Ward No 10 in Chikmagalur. Being right on Market Road means we are in the middle of all the action. It’s always busy outside with people shopping and vendors calling out. Our office is a simple place tucked into the building. It’s not very big, but it’s enough for what we need. We have some basic desks and chairs, and a corner where we keep the water cooler. The weather in Chikmagalur is usually much better than the heat you get in other places, so we don't mind not having central air conditioning. We just open the windows and let the breeze in, even if it brings in some of the noise from the street. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anyone to greet you at the door. If someone comes by, one of us just looks up from our work to say hi. It’s a very relaxed way to do things. We’ve been part of this ward for a few years now and we know the local shops well. The power can be a bit unreliable sometimes, but we just take that as a cue to go grab some coffee. It’s a practical, no-nonsense workspace. We aren't trying to impress anyone with expensive office upgrades. We just focus on the daily tasks and try to stay productive.
