We’ve been here at 6-21 Chitapur Road for a good while now. Nalwar is a busy place, and there’s always dust from the road. People come by looking for cement for their small home repairs or bigger jobs. Usually, it’s just us handling the bags and making sure the inventory stays dry when it rains. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy loading done early in the morning. Sometimes the trucks show up late, which is a bit of a headache, but that's how it goes in this business. My brother helps out with the books, though mostly we're just talking to the drivers and local builders who stop by. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and stacks of Orient Cement ready to go. The neighborhood knows where to find us. If you pass the main turn on Chitapur Road, you can't miss the building. We keep the doors open mostly to let some air in. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat about the weather or the local news while their orders are being loaded onto the rickshaws. It’s hard work, lifting all those bags day in and day out, but it keeps us busy. We don’t do anything special here, just supply the cement people need for their houses. It's a simple life. Our family has been in this area for a long time.
