The New Light Matriculation School

The New Light Matriculation School is based in the New Jasud Complex on Chikodi Road in Nipani. This is part of the Belgaum district. We are located in a commercial complex, so there are other businesses and shops nearby. It isn't a traditional standalone school building with a big gate and a field. Instead, we have our rooms within the complex. This works out okay because it's easy for parents to drop their kids off while they do their daily errands. Nipani is a busy town, and Chikodi Road sees a lot of traffic. Inside, we have set up our classrooms for the matriculation syllabus. We have blackboards and rows of wooden benches for the students. The lighting is okay, though we sometimes wish for more natural light. We spend our days teaching the kids and preparing them for their board exams. It’s a lot of repetition and making sure everyone understands the material. Our staff is mostly local people who have lived in Nipani for years. We don't have a website with fancy photos or anything like that. Most of our students come because they live nearby or their older siblings came here before them. It’s a simple operation. We open up in the morning, do our work, and lock the doors when the sun starts to go down. It’s just how things are here. We have a small bell we ring for the end of class.
