Located at 47-56 Anjur Road in Nipani, we are a steady part of the local landscape. The school building sits back a little way from the main road, so it stays relatively quiet while the lessons are happening. We have been working out of this particular facility for many years, focusing on the students who come in from all the surrounding neighborhoods. The classrooms have high ceilings and large windows to let the air circulate, which is really helpful during the hot months we get here in Nipani. We have a large open playground where the kids play football or just hang around talking during their lunch breaks. The staff room is usually a bit crowded with stacks of papers and old books piled up on the big central table. We follow a very practical daily routine starting with the morning assembly until the final bell rings in the afternoon. It is a very functional environment without any unnecessary decorations or fancy stuff. The gates are painted a bright blue and we have a small garden area near the main entrance that we try to keep watered when we have time. A lot of the kids walk here from their homes nearby. We deal with the usual school problems like leaky taps in the washrooms or needing to order more chalk for the boards. It is a simple place where the main thing is just getting through the syllabus every year and making sure the students show up on time. We do our work and go home like everyone else.
