Gowda'S Spices Trading Private Limited

We've been operating out of Chikkamagaluru for a while now. Specifically, we're over in Hawalli Aldur Post. It’s a quiet place, mostly hills and greenery around here. Gowda’S Spices Trading Private Limited deals with the stuff grown locally. We handle a lot of different spices that come through this part of Karnataka. People know this region for its coffee and peppers, so we stay pretty busy with the seasonal harvests. It's not fancy work, just moving bags and making sure the quality is what it should be before things go out. Sometimes the rain here makes logistics a bit of a headache, especially during the monsoon months when the roads get muddy. We just keep at it though. Our building isn't anything special to look at, but it gets the job done for the trading side of things. Most of the guys working here are from around the village or nearby towns. We spend our days checking batches and talking to the growers who bring their produce in. It’s a lot of manual sorting and packing. The smell of fresh cardamom and pepper is basically stuck in our clothes by the end of the day. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Word of mouth usually works fine for us. If you're ever driving through this part of Chikmagalur, you'll see how much agriculture defines the life here. We are just one small part of that whole system, making sure the spices get to where they need to go.
