Yamuna Cement

Out here in Manikpur, life moves at its own pace. Yamuna Cement is located right in the village, near the Rankuan police station. It’s a landmark everyone knows, so we don't usually have to give long directions. Being in Chikhli taluka means we see a lot of farmers and local folks who are building small sheds or fixing their homes in the district. We keep the cement bags stacked high. It's heavy work, and our backs feel it by the end of the week. There isn't much to say about us other than we are a local business trying to stay afloat. We started this because we saw everyone had to travel far for building supplies. Now, people just walk or drive a short way to us. Navsari gets quite hot, so the shed gets stuffy in the afternoon. We try to load the trucks early. Sometimes the rain makes the roads near the police station a bit muddy, which makes things tricky. But we deal with it. We aren't some big corporation with suits. It’s just us in our work clothes, dealing with dust and heavy loads every day. If you need a few bags or a whole truckload, we treat it the same way. It's just a regular day's work for us here in the village. No fancy talk, just cement and sand. We stay open as long as there is work to be done, which is most days.
