We are a group of folks from Kadachhala village in Jetpur Pavi. Most of us have been farming here forever. Our little office is over at Rajendrasinh Parmar’s place in Athamnu Faliyu. It isn’t fancy, just a room where we sit down and talk about the crops. We started this because doing things alone was getting harder every year. Usually, you’ll find some of us sitting there in the mornings before the sun gets too hot. We deal with whatever the season brings, whether it’s corn or cotton or whatever else is growing in Vadodara these days. Sometimes the rain helps, sometimes it doesn’t, but we keep going. The village is quiet, and that is how we like it. We aren't some big city firm with shiny desks. It is mostly just muddy boots and tea while we figure out how to get our stuff to the market without losing too much money. Everyone knows everyone here. If you walk down the faliyu, you’ll see us eventually. We are just trying to help the local farmers get a fair shake. It is hard work and the days are long, especially when harvest time comes around. We don't have a big team, just a few of us looking after the paperwork while the rest are out in the fields. It’s practical, simple, and we just take it one day at a time.
