Shri Hari Masala

Our little office is A/1 in Varia Colony, right near the Yuvraj Hotel in Halol. It’s a convenient spot because everyone knows where the hotel is, so we never have to give long directions. Shri Hari Masala is a small operation compared to the big factories, but we like it that way. The room is usually filled with the scent of different spices, which can be a bit strong if you aren't used to it. We spend most of our time dealing with local suppliers and making sure the packaging is done right. It’s just a few of us here, and we’ve known each other for years. We don't have a website or a big marketing plan. Most of our customers come to us because they’ve heard about us from someone else in the colony. The office is pretty simple—just a few chairs, a big table for sorting things, and some shelves against the wall. We have a tea break every afternoon where we talk about the news or what’s happening in Halol. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and wait for it to come back on, using the time to catch up on paperwork. It’s a slow and steady kind of business. We don't try to rush things because you can't rush the process when it comes to spices. We just do our work and go home to our families at the end of the day. There is always someone coming in to chat.
