You can find Shyampriya Steel Traders right on Plot No. 1708-4-A, just across from Gunnebo on Chandrapura Road. It is a pretty straightforward operation we have going on here. Most of the day is spent moving heavy steel around and making sure we have the right sizes in stock for whoever stops by. The yard gets pretty dusty when the trucks pull in, especially during the dry months, and the sound of metal clanging is basically the background music for our whole day. We don't have any fancy sales pitch or a shiny showroom. It is just a yard with a lot of steel and a small office where we write out the bills. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and we have to cover everything up quick, but we manage. Most of the people who come here are builders or guys working on local projects who just need a specific type of beam or rod. We know the regulars by name and usually have a rough idea of what they are looking for before they even get out of their trucks. It is physical work and we are usually pretty tired by the end of the shift, but it feels good to see the inventory moving out. We just try to keep the stacks organized so we can find what we need without wasting too much time.
