M R Engineers

M R Engineers is situated at Plot No. 637, right across from the Excise Office. It’s a handy landmark for anyone trying to find us for the first time. We’re an engineering shop, so our floors are usually covered in metal shavings and a bit of oil. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s where real work happens. We handle a variety of repairs and custom jobs that come our way. Most of the guys here have grease under their fingernails and a wrench in their back pocket most of the day. We don't have a receptionist or a glossy waiting room for guests. If you come by, you just walk in and find someone who isn't currently under a machine or busy with a torch. We’ve been at this location for years, watching the traffic go in and out of the Excise Office across the street. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. If something is broken, we try to fix it. If someone needs a specific part made, we get the lathe running and do our best. It’s simple, practical work that requires a bit of common sense and a lot of patience. Sometimes the power goes out or a tool breaks, and we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't trying to be the biggest engineering firm around, just the one people can rely on.
