The shop is right on the Main Road here in Ghoradongri, so it is easy to find if you are looking for it. I spend most of my day sitting behind the desk looking at motherboards and trying to figure out why someone’s laptop won't turn on. Computers can be frustrating things, and people usually come in here when they are already annoyed that their tech isn't working right. I try to fix things as fast as I can. Sometimes it is just a virus, other times I have to order a screen from the city which takes a few days to arrive by bus. The front window has some old monitors and some boxes of keyboards that have been there for a bit. It is not the most organized place, but I know exactly which drawer has the right screws for a Dell or a HP. My cousin helps me out sometimes during the summer when it gets busy with school projects. We sell some cables, mouse pads, and the usual stuff people need for their home setups. It is a local shop, so I know most of the people who walk through the door. We talk about the weather or the traffic on the road while I work on their machines. It is a decent way to earn a living and keep the lights on. The tea stall next door brings over a cup every afternoon, which helps me get through the pile of repairs.
