Xya

We are located on the Main Road in Korba, right where Pawan Kumar and Sunil Kumar have their setup. It’s a central spot, so there’s always something happening outside. Korba is a busy town, and being on the main road means we hear the horns and the crowds all day long. The shop, Xya, isn't very large, but we’ve crammed a lot into it over the years. We don't have a fancy website or a big advertising budget at all. People usually just find us by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor down the street. We spend our time managing the stock and talking to whoever comes in for a chat. It gets quite hot here in the summer, so the fan is usually running at full speed in the corner. The walls have a few old posters and the floor is just plain concrete that we sweep every morning. We don't mind the dust too much; it’s just part of being on a busy road. Most of us have lived in Korba our whole lives, so we know the area and the people well. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just open up in the morning, do our work, and close up when it's dark outside. It’s a simple way to run things. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are just a local spot on the road.
