Ucom Technologies

You’ll find Ucom Technologies over at Plot No.2 in Osmanpura, right in the Joyti Nagar area. We are actually quite close to the SBI ATM, which makes it easy for people to explain where we are located. The shop is a basic setup, really, just a front room for the tech stuff and a back area where we keep the spare parts. Osmanpura is a decent neighborhood to work in, though it gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up. We spend a lot of time at our benches, usually with a soldering iron or a screwdriver in hand. It’s not the kind of place with a lobby or a receptionist; you just walk in and see us working. The sunlight hits the front windows pretty hard in the afternoon, so we have to keep the blinds drawn most of the time. We’ve had this spot for a while and have seen the ATM queue grow and shrink throughout the day. It’s mostly just a routine of checking the devices and talking to the folks who drop by with questions about their tech. There’s always a pile of manuals on the corner desk that nobody ever reads. We just try to keep the place organized enough to find what we need. It’s a practical space for practical work, and that’s about all there is to it. The floor is a bit uneven in the back, but we’ve learned to walk around the bumpy parts.
