Being located in Sector No: C in Ranjan Goan puts us right in the thick of the M.I.D.C. Industrial Area. If you know Waluj, you know how busy it gets with all the trucks and workers moving around. Our spot is on the Shenpunnji Main Road, so there is always some noise from the traffic. It’s mostly dust and the sound of machines nearby, which is just how it is in an industrial zone. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we can get our work done. We spend most of our time inside handling whatever comes our way. The floor is concrete and we have racks for everything we need. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or find something else to do. It’s a gritty area but it feels productive. Most of the people around here are also working in factories or small shops, so we all kind of understand the daily grind. We grab lunch from the local stalls sometimes when we haven't brought anything from home. It is a long day usually, starting early and staying until the sun goes down. We don't have fancy furniture or a lounge. It’s just desks, chairs, and the tools of the trade. We’ve gotten used to the pace of life here in Waluj and the way the air smells of metal and exhaust all the time.
