Anand Deshmukh

I've been working here at 9 Shriramcolony for a good while now. It is a quiet spot in Sammarthnagar, mostly because we are tucked away near the S T Workshop. You can hear the buses and the mechanics sometimes when the wind is right. Anand Deshmukh is the name on the board outside. People usually find us by looking for the workshop first since it's such a big landmark in Aurangabad. The office isn't anything fancy, just a room with some chairs and a desk where I get my work done. I start my day early, usually grabbing a tea from the stall down the road before unlocking the gate. It gets quite dusty on this side of town, so I spend the first ten minutes just wiping things down. Most of the folks who stop by are locals who live around the colony or workers coming from the main road. We don't have a big sign with lights or anything like that. Just a simple nameplate. I like the routine of it all. Some days are busier than others, especially when there’s a lot of activity at the workshop, but mostly it’s just me doing my thing. The address is Aurangabad Ho, but everyone around here just calls it the Sammarthnagar area. It’s a decent place to be based, close enough to the main parts of the city but just enough out of the way to keep things manageable.
