Shobha Marbles & Granite Industries

Our place is called Shobha Marbles & Granite Industries. We are out at the Chhatarpur Factory, which is right on Mahoba Road. If you are driving along NH-86, you will see us near the Mahton Petrol Pump. It’s a good location for a stone business because the highway makes it easy for the big trucks to bring in the granite and marble. We have a lot of space out here, which we need for all the heavy slabs. We’ve been working at this factory for quite some time now. It’s a bit out of the main city, but people don't mind the drive when they are looking for stone for their houses. We don't have any polished sales speeches or corporate talk. We are just regular people who know a thing or two about rocks. We spend our days outside or in the shed, checking the quality of the marble. It can be a dusty job, and the sun gets pretty hot on the highway, but we just get on with it. Most of our neighbors are other industrial spots or the petrol pump. We like the pace of life here. It’s honest work, and we just try to provide what people are looking for without making it complicated. We’ve seen a lot of stone come and go over the years. It's a simple, tough business and we enjoy the people who stop by our little spot.
