Our shop is right near the Bus Stand in Bada Malhera, which is in the Chhatarpur district. Being so close to the bus stand means it’s always lively around here. We deal in stone. It is heavy work and there is always a lot of grit on the floor. We’ve been set up in this spot for quite some time now. People from all over the district come by when they need stone for their foundations or flooring. We have various types piled up, and we spend our time sorting through them. It isn't a glamorous job, but it's what we know. My family has been around this area forever. We see the same faces every week at the market nearby. When a customer walks in, we usually just have a chat and see what they are looking for. There’s no pressure or sales talk. Sometimes we are short-staffed and things move a bit slower, but we get it done. The noise from the buses is something you just get used to after a week. It’s a convenient location for people to find us. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical yard where you can see the stone for yourself. It is a solid, local business that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday, helping builders get what they need.
