Ravi Paints

If you go to the Main Market in Akbarpur, near the Shiv Temple, you’ll find Ravi Paints at Shop No.-21. It’s a small shop, but we pack a lot of inventory into it. There are cans of paint stacked up to the ceiling in some spots. You have to be careful not to knock anything over when you walk through the aisles. Being near the temple means there’s always a lot of activity and people walking by. We hear the bells and the prayers while we work throughout the day. It’s a nice atmosphere, even when the market is crowded and noisy. We mostly help people from the village and nearby areas. They come in looking for a specific shade of blue or just some basic supplies to fix up their front gates or doors. We don’t have any fancy computers to match colors perfectly. We do it by eye and based on our experience over the years. It’s worked for us so far and people seem happy. The shop has been in the family for a bit now. We keep things simple and honest. We don't use big words or try to sell people stuff they don't really need for their project. If we don't have something in stock, we just say so and tell them when it might arrive. Most days are spent talking to customers and moving heavy stock around. It’s a small business, and we like it that way. Akbarpur is a good community to be part of every day.
