You can find us at Venkata Maistry Street in the Parrys area. We are on the second floor of the building that used to be No 24 but is now No 45. The stairs are a bit steep, so you have to watch your step. We are just off Mannady Street, and the Excellent Hotel is right nearby if you need a landmark. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, though it’s mostly just roofs and wires. It’s a busy part of Chennai. We’ve set up our workspace to be practical. There’s no fancy furniture here, just solid tables and chairs that have been with us for a long time. We start our day early to beat the worst of the heat. The office gets a lot of light in the morning. We handle a lot of different things throughout the day, mostly keeping track of records and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s not the kind of place where things are very polished, but we know where everything is. We take our breaks when we can, often just grabbing a snack from the shops downstairs. Working in Parrys means there is always something going on. We just stay focused on the tasks we have. It’s a steady pace here. We like being part of this old neighborhood where everyone seems to know each other by face at least.
