Reliance Money

If you know 100 Feet Road in Arumpakkam, you’ve probably passed by our building many times. We are at number 60, right in the thick of the Chennai traffic and noise. It’s a loud spot, but it is very convenient for people to drop in on their way home. Shri Sakthi Nagar is a busy area with shops everywhere. Our office isn't very large and it gets a bit crowded. It’s basically one main room where we handle the Reliance Money business every day. The air conditioning is always running on full because the Chennai heat is no joke and the sun hits the front windows. We have a few desks and a wooden bench for people who are waiting. Most of the time, we are busy with paperwork or answering the phone that never stops ringing. It gets a bit chaotic during the lunch hour when everyone is trying to get their errands done at once. We don't have a big fancy entrance with a logo. You just walk in off the street. There’s a tea stall just a few steps away where we go when we need a quick break from the computer screens. Dealing with money and finance in a place like this keeps us very busy. We don't use much corporate talk. We just tell people how it is and help them with their applications. It’s a practical, local office.
