You can find the Vivaka Research And Care Foundation over in Pammal. We are located at P-8 on N.S.K Street, which is inside V.O.C. Nagar. Chennai 600075 is a big area, but our little corner is usually pretty calm. We spend our time here doing research and looking after the foundation's projects. It is a lot of reading and writing, to be honest. Our office is just a regular building on the street. It’s got a bit of a squeaky door, but we’re used to it by now. People from V.O.C. Nagar often drop by to see what we are working on. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It is just a few dedicated people who wanted to make a difference. The street outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, so we spend some time cleaning the floors. We just keep at it, day in and day out. Research takes a lot of patience, and care work takes even more. We try to balance the two as best as we can. N.S.K Street is a good place for us because it’s central to the folks we help. We have a couple of computers and a lot of filing cabinets. It might look a bit cluttered to an outsider, but we know where everything is. That is what counts in the end. We just keep doing our thing here.
