Vijaya Health Centre - Gipsa Ppn

Vijaya Health Centre is situated at 175 N. S. K. Salai in Vadapalani. It’s the same building as some other medical offices, so it can get a bit confusing for people who aren't familiar with the layout. Vadapalani is famous for its temple and its cinema studios, so the area around N. S. K. Salai is always packed with people. We are one of the Gipsa Ppn centers, which means we deal with a lot of specific insurance paperwork every day. It’s not the most exciting part of the job, but it’s what keeps things moving. The health centre isn't a luxury facility. It’s a place where people come to get checked out and then go about their day. The waiting room has a TV that’s usually on a news channel, and the chairs are the standard kind you see everywhere. We don't have a PR person writing about our goals. We are just a group of people working in the medical field. The rainy season is always a bit of a challenge because the road outside tends to puddle up, but we just keep the doors open. Most of our day is spent talking to patients and filing documents. It’s a very routine, grounded kind of place. We’ve been here at number 175 for a while, and we know the rhythms of the street pretty well by now. It is just a normal clinic.
