Rands Instruments Company is based at 23/11 on Athipet Main Road in Kuppam. It’s a straightforward location in a part of town that’s seen a lot of growth lately. We have a small setup here where we deal with all sorts of instruments and measuring tools. The shelves are packed with boxes and technical manuals that have been around since we started. It’s a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we don't mind it much. We spend most of our time checking equipment or talking to people who need specific parts. It’s the kind of place where you can find things you won't see in a big retail store. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign, just our name on the door and a reputation for knowing our stuff. The staff consists of just a few of us who have a knack for technical things. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. Kuppam is a good place to be, and the folks around here are friendly. We aren't trying to grow into some huge corporation; we just want to keep doing what we’re doing and stay on top of the orders. It’s a simple life, focused on the details of the instruments we handle every day. We’re usually here from early morning until the sun goes down. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a calibration, but we don't mind the quiet of the office at night.
