Vidhyavruksha Foundation

We are based at Plot Number 26 on the First Cross Street in Elango Nagar. This is in the Virugambakkam area of Chennai. Our office is on a quiet residential street, which is a nice break from the busier parts of the city. It’s a standard plot with a small building where we’ve set up our desks. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves full of files and a few computers that have seen better days. We do a lot of work related to learning and education, so there are always stacks of books or papers waiting to be sorted. The space is a bit tight, especially when we have all our volunteers in at once, but we make it work. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background while we type or talk on the phone. Outside, you can hear the neighbors going about their day and the occasional delivery bike zooming past. We don't have a big budget for decorations, so the walls are mostly bare except for a calendar and a few notes taped up. It’s a practical environment for people who just want to get things done. We don't spend time on fancy speeches or marketing. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to help the students or families who reach out to us from the local area. It’s a humble setup, but it’s our home base.
