Veneria Consultants is out in Guduvanchery on Plot No. 28, Vishveswara Iyyar Street. It is a bit further out from the main city, so it feels a little more relaxed here. We are a small consulting firm and we work out of a modest building on a quiet street. We don't have any big corporate partners or a board of directors to answer to. It is just a few of us who have a lot of experience in our fields and wanted to help others navigate their business problems. The street is mostly houses, so we try to keep the noise down and be good neighbors. Our office is filled with books and files from all the projects we have taken on over the years. We don't spend money on fancy furniture or the latest gadgets if the old ones still work fine. Most of our work comes from people in the surrounding areas who need some professional advice without the high prices of the downtown firms. We usually have tea together in the afternoon and talk about how to solve whatever snag we have hit that day. It is a slow and steady kind of life here in Guduvanchery. We are happy with how things are and we just want to keep providing a solid service to anyone who needs it. No big goals, just good work and a fair day’s pay.
