We have been operating from No. 14 Oliver Road in Mylapore for quite a few years now. Mylapore is an old part of town, and our shop fits right in with the traditional feel of the area. We deal mostly in sanitation supplies. That means our days are spent surrounded by toilet fixtures, pipes, and all kinds of plumbing bits. It is not exactly glamorous, but everybody needs this stuff eventually. The shop isn't very big, so we have boxes stacked up nearly to the ceiling in some places. It gets a bit cramped when a few customers are in at the same time, but we manage just fine. We mostly talk to local plumbers or people trying to fix a leak in their own house. We don't use any slick sales talk or big promises. We just show people what we have in stock and tell them how it works. If a part isn't right, we try to help them figure out what they actually need. It’s a very practical, down-to-earth business. Being in this part of Mylapore, we know a lot of the people who live nearby. We see the same faces year after year. We just keep our heads down, stay busy with the inventory, and keep the shop running like it always has. It is just an honest local business where we know our customers by their names.
