V Raghava Iyer Foundation

The V Raghava Iyer Foundation is located at No 5 Lakshmi Nivas, Dr Subbarayan Nagar, Kodambakkam. This is where we handle all our business, right here in this part of Chennai. It is a fairly old building, but it serves us well enough for what we need to do. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of marketing people telling us what to say. We just show up every morning and get through the tasks on our desks. Most of the work involves keeping track of the foundation's activities and making sure we are helping the community in the ways we planned. It is quiet work, mostly, involving a lot of reading and writing. We have a few chairs for visitors, but we aren't a high-traffic office. People who know us usually just drop by if they are in the neighborhood. We drink a lot of coffee and talk about the local news while we work. The area around Dr Subbarayan Nagar is nice because it is mostly houses, so it doesn't feel too much like a cold business district. We like being part of the local fabric here. There is no need for anything complicated. We just want to stay organized and keep the foundation running without any unnecessary drama or flashiness. It is just a small, dedicated space where we can focus on what actually needs to be done for the people we serve.
