We’ve been here at No. 13 Ranganathapuram Street in Mylapore for a while now. It’s a busy little area, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work or the temples nearby. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, but we keep things running. Most days start with us opening up the shutters and checking what needs to get done. Dealing with electronics can be a bit of a headache sometimes, especially when parts don't arrive on time or things just won't work like they're supposed to. We have a small crew here. Some of us have lived in Chennai our whole lives, so we know the heat can be a real pain during the summer months. We try to stay organized, but sometimes the desk gets cluttered with wires and old components. People stop by to ask questions or drop stuff off, and we just do our job. It’s quiet enough on this particular street compared to the main roads, which is nice when you're trying to concentrate on a tricky board. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It's just a workspace where we spend our eight hours. Sometimes the chai guy comes around and that's usually the highlight of the afternoon. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get through the pile of work. It’s a normal place, really.
