Trishan Dental Clinic

We’re tucked into 7 B of the Ashirwad Apartment building on Jothiramalingam Street. It's on the ground floor, so there are no stairs to worry about for our patients. Madipakkam is a nice area, though the street gets a bit narrow when people park their scooters on both sides in the morning. Inside the clinic, we have the dental chair and all the tools laid out on the trays. It smells like that minty stuff they use at the dentist's office. The waiting area is just a small corner with a few magazines that are probably out of date by now. I try to keep the windows clean, but the dust from the street makes it a constant chore for us. We have a small sink in the corner and a desk where we handle the payments and scheduling. It’s mostly families from the surrounding apartments who come to see us. Sometimes kids get a bit nervous, so we try to keep things calm and quiet. The light in the exam room is really bright, which helps with the work we do. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the neighbors all know us by name. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us making sure people’s teeth are okay. We don't have a dedicated receptionist most days, so one of us just steps out to greet whoever walks in. It’s a bit informal, but it works for us and the patients seem to like the personal touch we provide.
