Amma Naana Dental Clinic

The clinic is located at 46/6 B-1 Bushra House, which is right near the Poonamalee High Road in Chetpet. It’s a busy spot because of the main road, but Nawroji Road is a bit easier to navigate. We’ve got our dental chairs set up in the main rooms, and the windows look out toward the street. It’s a bit of an older house that’s been converted, so it has a different feel than those sterile clinics in the malls. The hallways are a bit narrow, and we have to be careful not to bump into each other when we’re moving around. We have a lot of patients who come in because they have a toothache or just need a cleaning. The sound of the drill is pretty constant throughout the day, which isn't everyone's favorite sound, but it’s what we do. We have a small desk where we handle the appointments and the payments. Sometimes the printer jams and we have to write out the receipts by hand. We keep a stock of toothbrushes and paste in the cabinet to give out. The staff here is mostly local, and we like to keep things informal. We don't wear those stiff corporate uniforms, just our regular scrubs. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We’re just a neighborhood dental spot in Chetpet, doing our work and keeping the place going.
