The Smile Citi Dental Center

The Smile Citi Dental Center is situated right at 3/27 & 4/28 in T Block 12th St, specifically in Block V and Block T of Anna Nagar. It is a big area in Chennai and the traffic around here can be a real headache if you are trying to find a parking spot in the middle of the day. The building stays fairly cool because of the air conditioning which is a relief from the Tamil Nadu heat outside. We spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment and making sure the waiting area stays tidy for the people sitting there. There are some old magazines on the table and a water dispenser that occasionally makes a loud glugging sound. The walls are painted a neutral color and we have some basic chairs lined up against the wall. It is a very clinical environment but we try to keep it relaxed so people don't feel too nervous while they are waiting. Usually, there is some quiet music playing in the background but you can still hear the sounds from the street if a bus goes by. The staff here mostly just goes about their business, checking schedules and filing records in the back room. It is a busy place but we try to keep things moving along as best as we can. Being on 12th St means we see a lot of the same neighbors walking past every day. It is just our local spot for fixing teeth.
