Our office is at 2, Raghavaiah Road. It’s a decent spot in a part of town that feels more like an old neighborhood than a cold business district. At Kengs India Pvt. Ltd., we don't spend much time on fancy decorations or impressive lobbies. The building has been around for a bit, and it has that specific smell of old paper and electronics. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't need many meetings to know what to do. We deal with a lot of exports and technical parts, which means there’s always a bit of paperwork piling up on the desks. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the traffic outside on Raghavaiah Road. We take our lunch breaks together mostly. It isn't the kind of place where people wear suits every day. We’re more comfortable in plain shirts, just getting through the tasks. Dealing with international clients means we’re sometimes here at odd hours because of the time zones, but we’re used to it. We keep things simple. If a job needs doing, we just sit down and finish it. There isn't much more to it than that. We like being in this part of the city because it’s easy for everyone to get to. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea seller knows exactly how we like our drinks.
