Down here at 52, Eldams Road, we mostly deal with steel and structural bits for building. It’s a busy spot. You can hear the noise from the street all day. We’ve got a lot of metal moving in and out. Most of the time, the guys are busy checking measurements or loading up trucks. It’s heavy work. We aren't dressed in suits here; it’s mostly boots and work shirts. The office is small and tucked away in the back. We started doing this because there was a lot of building going on in the neighborhood and people needed reliable steel. We don't have a big fancy website or a marketing team. If you need a beam or some framing, you just come talk to us. We try to keep things moving so nobody is waiting too long on a site. Sometimes the rain slows us down, especially with the outdoor storage, but we manage somehow. The people working here have been around for years. We know the local builders and they know where to find us. It’s just how things work on Eldams Road. We keep a close eye on what’s coming from the mills. It’s simple work. No fluff. We just focus on the structural stuff that holds everything else up. That’s plenty to keep us busy from morning till evening. It's a living and we are good with that.
