You can find Sri Ganesh Dental Clinic over on M.P.M Street in Perambur, Chennai. The door number is 304. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the other side of the city, but it’s a well-known street around here. We’ve been fixing teeth at this location for many years. The clinic isn't very big, but we have the tools we need. Chennai heat can be brutal, so we try to keep the waiting area as cool as possible for the patients. I spend a lot of time looking at X-rays and talking to people about their gums. We don't use a lot of fancy medical jargon; we just tell people what’s going on with their teeth. Perambur is a good place to be. There’s a lot of history in these streets. Our clinic is just one of those places that’s been around long enough that people just expect it to be there. We have a small sink in the corner and some posters about brushing on the walls. It’s nothing fancy at all. We see a lot of kids who aren't too happy to be here, but we try to make it quick for them. Sometimes the traffic on M.P.M Street is so bad that people arrive late for their appointments. We don't mind too much. We just fit them in when we can. It’s a steady pace of life here. We just keep our door open for the neighbors who need dental work.
