Sree Matha Enterprises

The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, but we keep things moving here at Sree Matha Enterprises. Being in Ambattur, especially on Cth Road, means dealing with a lot of dust and the constant sound of lorries passing by. It’s a busy part of town and we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. We started out with just a small desk and a few shelves, and honestly, it hasn't changed all that much. We mostly handle different types of supplies and small parts that people in the neighborhood need for their workshops. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the big pedestal fan running, which makes it hard to hear sometimes when the phone rings. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept, even if it looks a bit disorganized to a stranger. People stop by on their way to work or when they’ve forgotten something they need for a job. We don’t spend much time on fancy displays or anything like that because most folks just want to get what they need and go. Sometimes the tea stall next door brings over snacks, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon shift. It’s just a regular place where we show up, do the work, and try to help out the locals who’ve been coming to us for years. There’s always something to sort or a delivery to check.
