Pavan Novelty

If you know Kasi Chetty Street, you know how crowded it gets with people and goods moving everywhere. We are right there on the ground floor at No. 34/15. Pavan Novelty has been in this spot for a while now. Our shop is full of all sorts of small items and things people look for when they come to this part of town. It gets pretty dusty and loud with the traffic outside, but that is just how this street is. We spend most of our day unpacking boxes and showing items to folks who walk in. It’s not a big space so we have to stack things pretty high. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific thing right away but we usually know where everything is tucked. The lights aren't the brightest and the floor has seen better days, but it works for us. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just find us while they are walking through the market. It’s a lot of standing around and talking to customers from morning until we close the shutters at night. We just sell what we have and try to keep the shelves filled. It’s a busy life here in the middle of the city but we are used to the noise by now. We’ve seen many shops come and go but we just stay here doing our thing.
