Southern Enterprises

Southern Enterprises is situated at No. 46 on Ebrahimji Street. We are quite close to Stanley Hospital, which most people in the area know. There is also the Madiponga right opposite us. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of history and very narrow streets. Our building is an older one too. It has that lived-in feel. We’ve been operating out of this address for many years now. The street is usually full of carts and people carrying things. It can be quite loud with all the shouting and horns. Inside, we have our stock piled up. We deal in various supplies for local trades. It’s not a showroom or anything fancy. Just a place where business happens. We have a small desk near the door where we handle the cash and receipts. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use torches to find things in the back. That’s just part of being in this neighborhood. We know the other traders on Ebrahimji Street well. We often help each other out. We don't have a big marketing plan. People just come to us because we’ve been here so long. It’s a simple way to run a business. We stay busy enough and that’s what matters to us. It’s just the way things work in this part of town and we like it well enough. We just open up and see what the day brings.
